Advocacy PDF Print E-mail

iMEDIATE focuses on producing media with a strong advocacy component and research outputs that support advocacy around policy and service delivery.

The iMEDIATE members have long experience in developing democracy education and voter education materials. We have produced written guidelines for advocacy at local and provincial government level. We have successfully undertaken advocacy on behalf of a range of non-government bodies, particularly in the field of children’s rights and HIV treatment access.

iMEDIATE offers customised training in generic and specific advocacy strategies and skills. We also pass on lobbying skills to help realise the potential of groups and communities to influence policy, access resources and hold representatives accountable.

We specialise in advocacy around the inclusive and active participation in decision-making of children and adults.
